Butler volleyball wins; KC sweeps track meet
Dustin DeFrancisis totaled 30 assists and Mike Dreher 15 blocks to lead Butler's boys volleyball team to a 3-1 season-opening win over host North Hills Wednesday night.
The victory came by scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-13 and 25-20.
Dylan Snodgrass added nine passes and Travis Myers three kills.
The Golden Tornado also won the junior varsity match, 2-0.

Maggie Dellen, Calli Johns and Brittney Miller each scored a goal, but Butler suffered an 11-3 loss to visiting North Hills.
Tanner Kotch scored five times and added an assist in Butler's 9-5 win over host McDowell.A steady snowfall didn't hamper Cody Bachman's play either.
