SV lacrosse cruises, 15-5

Samantha Struss and Paige Corathers both scored five goals to lead the Seneca Valley girls lacrosse team to a 15-5 season-opening win over Hampton Monday night.

Kailie Soller added two goals while Taylor Mayeda, Morgan Midkiff and Kelly Cundiff each scored once.

Baldwin 5, Knoch 4 — Mindy Norris accounted for all four Knights' goals while Amanda Boldy added one assist.Becky Imhoff made 19 saves for Knoch, which opens section play Wednesday at Blackhawk.
