Butler Police11:21 p.m. Sunday — Four Butler women were cited after police were called to a reported fight in the area of the swinging bridge on West Diamond Street. Charged with disorderly conduct and harassment are Beth A. Neff, 35, and Jennifer M. Smith, 22. Charged with harassment are Samantha M. Harold, 20, and Christine M. Wahler, 26.Sunday — Two vehicles — a car in the 100 block of Lyon Avenue and a van in the 300 block of Morton Avenue — were reportedly ransacked sometime overnight.A portable DVD player, watch and change worth a combined $110 was taken the van, and a small amount of change was taken from the car.Sunday — An unidentified black vehicle struck a Butler Township woman’s car that was parked overnight in a parking lot off Elm Street. The unknown driver did not stop or leave information.10:49 p.m. Saturday — Richard Christensen II, 52, of Butler was hurt when he lost control of his pickup truck after suffering an apparent medical problem and hit a stone wall in front of a home in the 700 block of East Brady Street.Christensen was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. William Secunda of Summit Township owns the property damaged in the accident.Saturday — An unknown thief stole a 24-foot, aluminum extension ladder that was on the side of a garage at a home in the 900 block of East Jefferson Street. The ladder, valued at $200, was taken sometime in the past several days.7:55 p.m. Friday — Jeremy J. Whittington, 33, was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia after he suffered an apparent heroin overdose at his home in the 400 block of West North Street.Police said Whittington was semi-conscious and lying on a bathroom floor when they got to his home. Officers said they also found a spoon and several empty stamp bags of suspected heroin in the bathroom.Paramedics gave Whittington the drug naloxone, known by its trade name, Narcan, which commonly is used to neutralize the effects of heroin, and he awakened, according to a police report.“He admitted to shooting heroin,” the report said, but refused further medical treatment.

Butler Twp Police1:37 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Lola Rhule, 79, of Bradford Woods, Allegheny County, struck a building at McDeavitt Auto Sales at Route 8 and Vogel Road. Police said Rhule was cited for careless driving.10:50 a.m. Thursday — A 16-year-old girl, who police did not identify, is accused of fighting at the Butler Intermediate High School. Police cited the girl for disorderly conduct and harassment.

State Police, Butler7:54 p.m. Monday — Two Allegheny County teenagers were hurt when their car sideswiped a wall on a bridge overpass on Interstate 79 near Route 108 in Worth Township. Brandon M. Mitchell, 18, of Sewickley, the driver, and Brett A. Mitchell, 18, of Sewickley, a passenger, suffered minor injuries.3:30 p.m. Monday — A small, black Brinks home security safe was found in woods behind the Dairy Queen on Route 8 in Center Township. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.12:18 a.m. Saturday — John J. Knox, 38, of Petrolia was arrested for drunken driving at Campbell and Hazlett roads in Concord Township. Police stopped Knox’s car after they got a call from 35-year-old Trisha Haley of Petrolia, who told authorities she was in the back of the car.Haley said Knox was intoxicated and that he tried to hit her and pull her out of the car on Route 308 near Moniteau High School in Cherry Township.Knox was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence, harassment and not wearing a seat belt, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.5 a.m. Friday — Michael R. Six, 25, of Petrolia was arrested after he forced his way into 21-year-old Danielle Six’s home on School Street in Bruin. Michael Six allegedly punched 40-year-old Brian Ashe of Fenelton, when Ashe tried to break up an altercation between the Sixes.Michael Six was arraigned on a charge of trespass, a felony, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail. He also is charged with two summary counts of harassment.1:15 a.m. Friday — Aaron J. Sattely, 24, of Zelienople was arrested for DUI after his car was clocked on radar traveling 100 mph on I-79 in Lancaster Township. In addition to DUI, Sattely is charged with speeding, careless driving and disregarding traffic lanes.Friday — An unknown thief stole $684 in unspecified property from a Duffy Road home in Clay Township. The theft happened between Wednesday and Friday.2:32 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Sonny S. Herr, 36, of East Brady, Clarion County, struck a deer on Route 68 in Fairview Township.2:05 a.m. Thursday — William Henderson, 46, of Renfrew was arrested for suspicion of DUI on I-79 in Cranberry Township.

State Police, MercerMarch 4 — Copper pipe fittings, a well pump and several rolls of wire were stolen from a barn in a burglary at a Millbrook Road home in Worth Township, Mercer County. The break-in happened between Jan. 14 and March 4.
