1:35 a.m. Thursday — Samantha Zander, 26, of Butler was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Center Avenue for a traffic violation.4:45 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Craig A. McConnell, 43, of Chicora struck several trees along Route 68 near Chicora Road in Oakland Township. McConnell was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.

Thursday — An SUV driven by John G. Welch, 19, of Sharpsville and a pickup truck driven by Willis J. McDowell, 60, of Grove City collided on Scrubgrass Road in Findley Township. Both drivers were uninjured, and Welch's passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Mercer, suffered a minor injury. Welch was cited for failure to obey stop signs.

6:28 p.m. Thursday — Shawn Leonard, 27, of Slippery Rock was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County. Leonard also was wanted on a warrant from the Butler County Sheriff's office.
