2:15 a.m. Friday — Johnathan Dittmer, 21, of Butler was charged with DUI and driving at unsafe speed after his vehicle slid through the intersection of Highfield and South Duffy roads before stopping on the side of the road. No injuries were reported.5:04 p.m. Wednesday — Helena Croft-Norris, 52, of Valencia was charged with DUI, driving during suspension and failure to maintain a single lane after a witness reported seeing her drive erratically on New Castle Road.
3:20 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Adam B. Overly, 23, of Hilliards crashed into a utility pole along Route 38 in Concord Township. Overly and his passenger Amber D. Stewart, 20, of West Sunbury, each were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Overly was cited for failure to wear a seat belt.4:34 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Marc-Anthony Hattaway, 20, of Butler and a car driven by Donna L. Bailey, 51, of Chicora crashed on Route 68 in front of the Dollar General Store in Fairview Township. Bailey suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. Hattaway was not injured and was cited for turning movements and required signals.
9:32 p.m. Thursday — Rebekah L. Cypher, 29, of Butler was charged with DUI, failure to maintain a single lane and driving with expired registration following a traffic stop at the intersection of Butler and Freeport roads in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.9:15 a.m. Tuesday — Someone stole a van belonging to Elizabeth Kost of Sigel and drove it to West Winfield Road in North Buffalo Township before abandoning the vehicle between 12:01 a.m. March 5 and 9:15 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-543-2011.
7:50 a.m. Friday — A van driven by Oliver A. King, 33, of Beaver Falls crashed into three cars at Dewit’s Junk Yard along Route 488 in Perry Township, Lawrence County. King and his passenger, Roscoe Hodge, 35, of Beaver Falls, were not injured. King was cited for driving at unsafe speed.9:10 p.m. Thursday — Matthew Harris, 44, of Brockway was charged with DUI and several traffic offenses following a traffic collision at the intersection of Glass and Forbes roads in Scott Township, Lawrence County.
