Wetzel 90th birthday
Wilfred “Bill” Wetzel of Sarver will celebrate his 90th birthday with a family dinner.

Wetzel was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Sarver.
He married the former Madeline Carnahan on March 17, 1945, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.
He has seven children, Doris Miller of Natrona Heights, Wesley Wetzel of Ford Cliff, Bonnie Yates and Bill Wetzel, both of Cabot, Linda Heade of Saxonburg, and Tom Wetzel and James Wetzel, both of Sarver. Another child, Dana Robinson, is deceased.
He also has 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
He is retired after 40 years at Moonlight Mushrooms in Winfield Township. He is still farming at home.
He is a member of the Senior Citizens of Saxonburg and the retiree group from Moonlight Mushrooms.
He is a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.
