Taggart 60th anniversary
Gilbert and Patricia Taggart of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner in July at the Days Inn, Butler. All of their immediate family will travel home for the celebration.
Taggart married the former Patricia Randig on Feb. 23, 1951, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Butler.
They have six children, Cathy Kennedy of Pompano, Fla., Jeff Taggart of Chesapeake, Va., Susan Wolf of Phoenix, Ariz., Cindy Dituro of West Sunbury, Joan Davenport of Butler and Scott Taggart of Boardman, Ohio.
They also have 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Taggart is retired from the inspection department of Armco Steel.Mrs. Taggart is a homemaker.Mr. and Mrs. Taggart enjoy traveling, spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and going to the movies.They attend St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
