Butler Police4:30 p.m. Saturday — John D. Dunmyre Jr., 23, of Butler is accused of breaking into a West Cunningham Street home and stealing a 42-inch, flat-screen television. Dunmyre was arraigned on charges of burglary and theft, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.12:55 p.m. Saturday — Joseph F. Rogers, 31, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 24-year-old Jessica Milligan of Butler, during a domestic dispute at his West Penn Street home. Rogers is charged with simple assault.6:10 a.m. Saturday — Martin P. Patterson Jr., 44, was charged with assaulting a man who ended up at Butler Memorial Hospital's emergency room. The accuser, who police did not identify, told officers that he was attacked outside Patterson's Broad Street home.The man was treated for cuts and bruises. Patterson is charged with simple assault and harassment.

8:20 p.m. Sunday — Raymond Miller, 41, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 29-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl at a home on South Benbrook Road in Center Township. Miller was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment on simple assault charges.8:30 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Cory H. Terwilliger, 20, of Chicora and a pickup truck driven by Dennis R. Martin, 54, of New Castle collided on ice-covered Route 108 near Stoughton Road in Worth Township. Police said Terwilliger was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.1 p.m. Saturday — A North Carolina couple was hurt when their car crashed on rain-soaked Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Timothy Beheler, 26, the driver, and Kristin Brown, 21, a passenger, both of Concord, suffered minor injuries. Police said Beheler was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.1:40 a.m. Saturday — Anthony J. Parenti, 18, of Forestville was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old Slippery Rock girl during a party at a trailer home on Franklin Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said the suspect also threatened to kill the girl.Parenti was arraigned on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail. He was released Sunday after posting bail.2:28 a.m. Saturday — An unidentified vehicle struck a fence in front of Reiber Road in Connoquenessing Township. The driver did not stop and traveled away east on Reiber Road toward Butler Township.Police found wreckage at the scene that indicated the vehicle is a black car, possibly a Honda. The suspected hit-and-run vehicle is likely missing a portion of the bumper near the driver's side front tire. Also missing is the plastic wheel well cover from the vehicle's front driver side tire.Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.5:28 p.m. Friday — Jan M. Genaway, 40, of West Sunbury was hurt when a car rear-ended the minivan she was driving at Route 308 and Mahood Road in Clay Township. Genaway, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Police said Bradley R. Seidel, 30, of Hilliards, the driver of the car, faces a ticket for driving at an unsafe speed.Wednesday — Police filed drunken driving charges against Robert J. Burd, 60, of Butler Township stemming from a Jan. 21 crash on Route 308 near Rennick Road in Center Township.Police said Burd about 10:15 a.m. lost control of his sport utility vehicle and traveled over a hillside. The vehicle ended on its side.A breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.20 percent, or more than double the state's limit of 0.08 percent.Burd is charged with driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, disobeying a traffic-control device and a lane violation.
