Janet and James Patterson

James and Janet Patterson of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Patterson married the former Janet Rapier on Feb. 4, 1961, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have five children, James G. Patterson of Butler, Ann Patterson of Gibsonia, Amy Heatherington of Gibsonia, Mary Patterson of Butler and Edie Rath of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Patterson is retired as V.P. of Operations after a career in manufacturing.

Mrs. Patterson is a homemaker.

The Pattersons belong to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
