The Burgesses in 1951

Fred and Blanche Burgess will celebrate their 60th anniversary.

They will celebrate their special day Feb. 5 with their family at DeBlasio’s Restaurant.

Burgess married the former Blanche Creedon on Feb. 3, 1951, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Manchester, Pa.

The maid of honor was Jacqueline Creedon and the best man was James Brannigan.

They lived in Bellevue for 34 years and moved to Harmony in 1985.

They have three children, Patricia Bell-Burgess, Fred Burgess and Vince Burgess.

They also have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
