The Stevensons in 1961

William and Charlene Stevenson of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house in the spring.

Stevenson married the former Charlene Novak on Jan. 14, 1961, at Grace Reformed Church in Harmony.

They have one child, David William Stevenson of Butler. Another child, Lisa Michelle Cupps, is deceased.

They also have five grandchildren.

Stevenson is retired from Penn United Technologies in Cabot.Mrs. Stevenson is retired from Mine Safety Appliances and is an antique dealer.The Stevensons attend Westminster PCA in Butler.
