3:58 Sunday — Janine Louise Frobe, 45, of Lyndora was charged with simple assault after allegedly biting her 27-year-old nephew on the arms and hitting him in the face with her fist at a Bullcreek Road residence in Jefferson Township.8:39 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Andrew Tolkacevic, 19, of Pittsburgh and an SUV driven by Nichole Kovacik, 35, of Prospect collided at the intersection of Branchton and Harmony roads. Kovacik suffered injuries of unknown severity. Tolkacevic was cited for a stop sign violation.4:18 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Erin Mantz, 22, of Cochranton in Crawford County overturned on a hillside along Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Mantz received minor injuries.2:45 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Josh Brosky, 28, of Ridgeway, Elk County, slid through a curve on Route 268 in Fairview Township before crossing into the southbound lane and hitting a tractor-trailer and a snow embankment in a parking lot. He received minor injuries. Brosky was cited for driving too fast for conditions.11:26 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Shingara Singh, 62, of Brampton, Ontario, crashed into a guard rail on Interstate 79 near Pfeifer Road in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Singh was cited for a lane violation.8:31 a.m. Jan. 14 — A pickup driven by Dana Miller, 64, of Butler was backing out of a driveway on Route 68 in Summit Township when it collided with an SUV driven by Amanda Oesterling, 30, of Butler. The impact sent the SUV into an embankment and down a hillside. Oesterling and her passenger were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
6:15 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Ashley Buchanan, 20, of Conneaut Lake spun on Route 258 in Liberty Township and hit a ditch and rolled. She was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.5:15 p.m. Thursday — A pickup driven by Eric Slater, 25, of Prospect spun on an ice-covered Route 173 in Mercer Township, Butler County, before hitting a large tree. Slater was not injured.
Friday — Franklin D. Rosenberger, 62, of Bradys Bend Township was charged with assault after allegedly hitting James Munsie, 62, also of Bradys Bend, over the head with the butt of a rifle. Rosenberger was placed in Armstrong County Jail on $15,000 bail.
