Angelo 40th anniversary
Richard and Marlene Angelo Jr. of Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage with dinner with friends and family at the Monterey Fish Grotto in Mt. Washington.
Angelo married the former Marlene Hudak on Jan. 9, 1971, at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church in Monongahela.
They have one child, Matthew Angelo of Collegeville. Another child, Richard Angelo III, is deceased.
They also have one grandchild.
Angelo is retired as substation manager for Allegheny Power Company. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the American Legion.
Mrs. Angelo is the church secretary of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She is a member of St. Michael’s Rosary Makers.
They are past members of USA Dance.
The Angelos have been ballroom dancing for more than 12 years.
They enjoy their dog, Riley, and spending as much time as possible with their grandson.
