Hardt 60th anniversary
Charles and Irene Hardt of Middlesex Township celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.
Hardt married the former Irene Merenick on Dec. 30, 1950, in Pittsburgh.
They have eight children, Peg Puskas of Ocoee, Fla., Chuck Hardt Jr. of Stow, Ohio, Debra Reed of Dover, Pa., John Hardt of Portersville, Sandra Rogers of Volant, William Hardt of Valencia, Laura Standish of mars and Jacque Ganter of Red Lion, Pa.
They also have 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Hardt is retired. He worked for 47 years for American Bridge. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an original member of the Penn Glade Lions Club.
Mrs. Hardt is a housewife and mother. She was a member of the Penn Glade Lions Club.
The Hardts attend Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
