Temple 50th anniversary
Timothy and Joyce Temple of Butler and Zephyrhills, Fla., will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner hosted by their children at the Succop Conservancy.
Temple married the former Joyce Ann McCormick on Dec. 29, 1960, at First United Methodist Church in Butler.
They have three children, Malinda Krchnak of Freeport, Kimberly Emricko of Sarver and Timothy Temple II of Butler.
They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Temple retired after 39 years from the power distribution department of AK Steel in Butler. He is the longtime owner of the No. 35 dirt modified car. He enjoys golfing and antique car cruising.
Mrs. Temple previously volunteered at Butler Memorial Hospital’s gift shop and worked at the Sign of the Gulls gift shop. She enjoys gardening, traveling, going to antique car cruises and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.The Temples are members of Christ Community United Methodist Church in Butler.
