11:13 p.m. Sunday — Alexander Cash Jr., 30, of Butler was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving while privilege is suspended and failure to display registration plate following a traffic stop at the corner of Virginia Avenue and Beckert Street.1:23 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Kenneth E. Mott, 52, of Lyndora and a car driven by Thomas Colosimo, 71, of Boyers collided at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Pillow Street. Mott and passenger Sharon J. Metts, 55, of Lyndora as well as Thomas Colosimo and passengers Mark T. Colosimo, 51, and Elva M. Colosimo, 71, both of Boyers, were not injured. Mott was cited for a red light violation.7:21 p.m. Dec. 21 — An SUV driven by Haley E. John, 17, of Renfrew and a car driven by Paul Angert, 81, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Pittsburgh Road. Both drivers were uninjured and Paul Angert's passenger Leona J. Angert, 80, of Butler suffered a minor injury. John was cited for careless driving.
9:14 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Cecel Crispin, 20, of Butler and a car driven by William Helzer Jr., 33, of Butler collided on Route 68 at the rear entrance to Point Plaza. Crispin suffered a minor injury and was cited for careless driving and failure to use restraint systems.7:15 p.m. Thursday — Daniel Ferragonio, 37, of Butler was charged with public drunkenness and pedestrian under the influence after he was stopped by police while walking allegedly intoxicated on Litman Road at 4:27 p.m. then, after being released into a friend's custody, allegedly fled the friend's vehicle and was again stopped by police a second time, walking along Whitestown Road, allegedly under the influence.6:07 p.m. Thursday — Vehicles driven by Carolyn Jerich, Jessica Reott and Brad Mace, all of Butler, collided at the intersection of New Castle and Duffy roads. Reott and a passenger in her car suffered minor injuries.5:45 p.m. Thursday — George B. Emerick, no age given, of Butler was charged with retail theft at Friedman's Market at Point Plaza shopping center. Emerick, an employee, allegedly tried to leave the store with merchandise he had not paid for.11:44 p.m. Dec. 15 — Gary Davis, 34, of Butler was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to a disturbance at a residence on Valley Street.8 p.m. Nov. 23 — Marcus Register Jr., 39, of Butler was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, identity theft and access device fraud after he allegedly stole and used a Lyndora woman's debit card.
10:40 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Thomas A. Anderson, 63, of Polk crashed into a guard rail along Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Thomas Anderson and passenger Barbara Anderson, 61, of Polk were not injured. Thomas Anderson was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.10:40 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Raymond W. Priester, 42, of Evans City crashed into an embankment and a tree along Route 68 near Ash Stop Road in Forward Township. Priester suffered moderate injuries and was cited for careless driving.3:20 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Benoit K. Kihumbu, 29, of New Castle crashed into an embankment along Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Kihumbu was not injured and was cited for a traffic violation.5:57 p.m. Saturday — Keith Hepler, 58, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of New Castle Road and 6th Avenue in Butler.1:32 a.m. Saturday — Joshua Paul Luchkiw, 25, of East Butler was charged with criminal trespass and harassment after he allegedly entered a home on Sherman Avenue in East Butler and threatened people inside before shoving one of the residents.1:21 a.m. Saturday — Samuel J. Shultz, 24, of East Brady was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on Route 268 in Donegal Township.7:55 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Amy L. Gerwig, 19, of Prospect, Thomas E. Wadding, 68, of Butler and Theresa E. Smith, 43, of Worthington collided on Route 8 at the entrance to Clearview Mall in Center Township. Gerwig was cited for a traffic violation.7:31 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Mary E. Pusateri, 59, of Verona crashed into a tree along White Oak Road near County Line Road in Marion Township. Pusateri, a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl in her car all suffered minor injuries. Pusateri was cited for a traffic violation.10 a.m. Thursday — Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in Tara Court in Clinton Township and stole a pink iPod Nano valued at $225, a black Garmin GPS valued at $200 and two sets of Nike headphones valued at $60, all belonging to Julie Smotzer of Willington, N.C. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.6:18 a.m. Thursday — Cars driven by Gregory V. Galati, 26, of Beaver Falls and Philip V. Corson, 64, of Pittsburgh collided on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Both drivers were cited for traffic violations.7:50 p.m. Dec. 19 — A car driven by Lauren E. Laing, 21, of Gibsonia and an SUV driven by Nicole D. Martinez, 22, of Saxonburg collided on Glade Mill Road in Clinton Township. Laing suffered a minor injury and Martinez suffered an unknown injury. Laing was cited for a traffic violation.3:05 p.m. Dec. 17 — A car driven by Beverly L. Seybert, 77, of Butler, a van driven by Jacquelyn M. Arbanas, 44, of Chicora and an SUV driven by John M. Fuhry, 46, of Butler collided on Route 8 near Mercer Road in Center Township. Seybert suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.3:14 p.m. Dec. 15 — Cars driven by Ruth E. Hodill, 52, of Evans City and James F. Ward, 60, of Evans City collided on Prospect Road near Fassinger Road in Connoquenessing Township. James Ward's passenger Cynthia S. Ward, 53, of Evans City, as well as Hodill, suffered unknown injuries. Hodill was cited for a traffic violation.
7:10 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by a 17-year-old Knox boy and an SUV driven by Tashina C. Booher, 26, of Rimersburg collided on Wentlings Corners Road near Graff Road in Beaver Township. Booher suffered moderate injures and her passengers Jessica Cyphert, 20, of Slippery Rock and Ryan J. Schons, 24, of Rimersburg suffered minor injuries. The 17-year-old driver suffered minor injuries and was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.
7:03 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Sara L. Foster, 20, of Grove City, a car driven by Bobbie J. Johnston, 43, of Stoneboro and a car driven by Kathleen J. Daley, 48, of Grove City collided on Route 58 in Findley Township. All three drivers and a passenger in Foster's car, David Miller, 24, of Slippery Rock, were not inured. A 15-year-old girl in Johnston's car suffered a minor injury. Foster was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
