Haag 65th anniversary
Philip and Mildred “Millie” Haag of Slippery Rock will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner at their home.
Haag married the former Millie Hanna on Jan. 1, 1946, in Nectarine, Pa.
They have five children, Carolyn Steckter of Portland, Ore., Rhonda Albash of Columbus, Ohio, Jim Haag of Butler, Jerry Haag of Girard, Ohio, and Kenneth Haag of Grove City.
They also have 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
The Haags are retired from Slippery Rock University.
The Haags are Pentecostal, and Mr. Haag pastored several local nondenominational churches.Mr. and Mrs. Haag love traveling and did evangelistic work in Florida’s east coast during spring break.They also enjoy camping, playing music, singing and fishing in Florida, and Mrs. Haag loves flying kites with her grandchildren.
