Nick Sheptak

Nick Sheptak of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday with an open house at Butler County Community College. Sheptak was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Lyndora.

He married the former Margie Gladis on March 5, 1956, at St. John Byzantine Catholic Church. She is deceased.

He has one child, Julianne Sheptak of Butler.

Sheptak is retired from Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company. Sheptak is a veteran of the United States Army. He served in North Africa and Europe during World War II.

He is a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
