10:50 a.m. Wednesday — A 15-year-old female student at Clarence Brown School was charged with possession of a weapon on school property after she allegedly brought a Swiss army knife to school in her book bag.
6:30 p.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Michaelangelo Messina, 33, of Spartanburg was struck by several pieces of 4-by-6-foot sheet metal that came dislodged from the trailer of a vehicle traveling in front of it on Interstate 79 near East Lancaster Road in Lancaster Township. Messina and his passenger, Christy Messina, 29, of Spartanburg, were not injured. The vehicle that lost its load was described as red with a detachable trailer. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.12:09 a.m. Thursday — Robert Patton, 38, of Nebraska was charged with DUI, resisting arrest and criminal trespass after he allegedly drove onto the property of a private residence on Route 8 near Turk Road in Brady Township and began barking at two dogs there. He also allegedly struggled against police after refusing to follow their instructions at the scene.11:19 a.m. Monday — A van driven by Caroline English, 45, of Rural Valley crashed into an embankment along Route 422 in Summit Township. English was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.2:34 a.m. Dec. 11 — Someone stole a wallet belonging to Amanda Perez of Allison Park and containing $300 at First National Bank in Slippery Rock. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.
8:11 a.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Michael D. Anderson, 23, of Dalmatia, Pa., crashed into a guard rail along Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township. Anderson suffered a minor injury.Dec. 3 — Alyassa Schrubb of Grove City was defrauded out of money after she received a letter stating that she was selected to be a secret shopper. She cashed a fake check and wired money to another location.
6:39 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Michael Iusi, 34, of Leechburg, Pa., and a car driven by Diane C. Frndak, 50, of Saxonburg collided on Route 28 in O’Hara Township, Allegheny County. Iusi suffered a minor injury.6:45 p.m. Tuesday — A Jeep driven by Thomas Sweeney, 44, of Sarver and a car driven by Lindsay A. Fiore, 24, of Apollo collided at the intersection of Ford City Road and Richcrest Lane in South Buffalo Township. Thomas Sweeney, his passenger Kelly S. Sweeney, 43, of Sarver, and Fiore and her passenger, Clara J. Blackburn, 82, of Freeport were not injured.
