2:08 p.m. Tuesday — One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at Whitestown and Meridian roads. Cheri Greenspring, 47, of Butler, one of the drivers, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor injury.Police said the other driver, Ruth Ann Thomas, 59, of Renfrew, was cited for a red light violation, driving at an unsafe speed and an inspection violation.

Tuesday — A red Huffy 10-speed bicycle was found at a business in the 1300 block of West Main Street Extension. The owner may claim the bike at the police station.12:34 a.m. Dec. 9 — Brandon J Seelbaugh, 20, of Grove City was arrested on three warrants each out of the police department and the Mercer County District Attorney's Office.Police searched Seelbaugh and turned up a bag containing 17 suspected anti-anxiety pills for which he does not have a prescription.Seelbaugh was placed in the Mercer County Prison on the warrants. He also faces new charges for possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

2:45 a.m. Wednesday — Emma Lee Rose Heaney, 29, of Evans City was hurt when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel and crashed her car on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Police said Heaney, who was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries, was cited for careless driving.2:30 a.m. Wednesday — An unknown hit-and-run driver crashed a 1999 Ford Explorer into a ditch on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.11:58 a.m. Tuesday — Charles J. Geibel III, 39, of Freedom, Beaver County, suffered minor injuries when the pickup he was driving spun into a guardrail and rolled onto its roof on snow-covered Route 68 near Old Route 68 in Forward Township. Police said Geibel, who was treated at UPMC Passavant Cranberry, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.5:35 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Sarah S. Calvert, 61, of Mercer struck a traffic sign and spun around after sliding off Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County.12:40 a.m. Sunday — Allen Robert Hawk, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Butler.
