The Rettigs in 1945

Clyde and Grace Rettig of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage at the Grand Ballroom in Butler.

Rettig married the former Grace Buckham on Nov. 7, 1945, at the First United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have two children, Clyde Rettig Jr. of Wellesley, Mass., and Mrs. Joseph (Darlene) Huth of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Rettig is retired from Armco after 43 years of service. He is a member of the VFW, American Legion and Masons.

Mrs. Rettig is a homemaker.

The Rettigs belong to St. mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
