11:45 a.m. Thursday — Ryan Vannoy, 43, of Ellwood City was hit by a minivan while crossing at Main and Jefferson streets. Vannoy rolled off the hood of the vehicle but was not injured. However, his eyeglasses were broken.The driver, Michael J. Beichner, 37, of Butler, agreed to pay for the man's glasses, according to a police report. Beichner was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

4:07 p. m. Friday — Carissa Epperson, 33, of Rochester, Beaver County, is accused of shoplifting at the Kohl's store in Butler Crossing. She was allegedly spotted placing jackets in a Kohl's shopping bag and trying to leave the store without paying for the items.Epperson is charged with felony retail theft and false identification to law enforcement authorities. She was arraigned on charges and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.12:20 p.m. Thursday — Two people were hurt when a pickup truck and car collided in the parking lot at Sheetz on Route 68.David Rider, 50, of Evans City, the pickup driver, was backing out of a parking space when he hit the car driven by Rosalyn McCall, 56, of Saxonburg. McCall and her passenger, Justin McCall, 31, of Saxonburg, suffered unknown injuries.

12:20 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Cody Ehrmentrout, 17, of Chicora crashed and rolled onto its roof on Ohara Road near Frazier Road in Jefferson Township. Ehrmentrout was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and other unspecified traffic violations.5:24 a.m. Nov. 29 — Rebecca Gottschalk, 40, of Portersville was hurt when the minivan she was driving hit an embankment and rolled onto its driver's side after skidding off ice-covered Route 422 near Currie Road in Muddy Creek Township. Gottschalk, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.12:47 p.m. Nov. 24 — An unknown scammer conned a cashier at the Giant Eagle in Slippery Rock into giving him $110. The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, 250 pounds with brown hair and a disfigurement or large boil on his face and neck.Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.12:31 a.m. Nov. 21 — Richard E. Wallace, 37, of Harmony was arrested following a disturbance at a home on Scott Ridge Road in Lancaster Township.Police were initially called to the home for a reported domestic dispute. Wallace was told to leave. He complied but later returned.Police were called back to the home, where Wallace allegedly became combative with officers. He was arrested and later arraigned on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He is free on $3,000 bail.

8:05 p.m. Monday — One person was hurt when a car crashed into a side of a truck tractor’s box trailer on snow-covered Interstate 80 in Clinton Township. The driver of the car, Sergio-Olmedo Compoverde, 38, of Shelby Township, Mich., was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. Sarbdeep S. Mann, 50, of Macedonia, Ohio, was driving the truck.
