Tuesday — Police charged Kimberly Ann Safranek, 22, and Heather R. Thornton, 22, both of Butler, with using a dead man's credit card to make $1,212.61 in unauthorized purchases Oct. 21 at a store. Both suspects are charged with access device fraud, forgery and conspiracy.
10:07 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Jennifer Bopp, 23, of Butler crashed into and sheered off a utility pole on Route 356 in front of VA Butler Healthcare. Bopp was cited for careless driving.10:59 a.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Ray McDonald Jr., 21, of Chicora and Brian Fend, 50, of Butler collided at East Jefferson Street and Hospital Way.3 p.m. Saturday — Marki M. Seezox, 19, of Butler was nabbed for allegedly shoplifting at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. When police searched the suspect, they found an uncapped syringe in his sweat shirt. Seezox is charged with the retail theft, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.
6:41 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Dana R. Hartle, 20, of Butler and a truck driven by Jarrod Synowsky, 26, of Cranberry Township collided on Sunset Drive in Center Township. Hartle was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Tuesday — Two catalytic converters and two doors were stolen from a garage in the 700 block of Freeport Road in Jefferson Township. The property, worth about $1,400, was taken between Sunday and Tuesday.11 p.m. Monday — Charles J. Cunningham Jr., 35, of Petrolia allegedly assaulted a 32-year-old Petrolia woman during a domestic dispute at a home on Horner Road in Parker Township. Cunningham is charged with simple assault and harassment.
