6 p.m. Monday — A 13-year-old Butler boy was arrested for allegedly shoplifting merchandise at the Kmart store in Pullman Square. The boy, who police did not identify, is charged with retail theft.

Nov. 22 — An unknown thief stole a wooden Joseph and Mary cut-out that was part of a nativity scene at Memorial Park. The property, owned by the Trinity Living Center, was taken between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Nov. 22 — Someone cut the brake line of a black, Ford F250 parked at 108 Madison Ave. The vandalism happened between Nov. 15 and Nov. 22.

Nov. 22 — Police charged Jennifer L. Kwiatek, 35, of Evans City with drugged driving and child endangerment stemming from a Nov. 17 traffic stop on Route 68.Police said they stopped Kwiatek about 12:50 a.m. near Interstate 79. An officer suspected the defendant was impaired, according to court documents.Kwiatek allegedly acknowledged she had taken a clonazepam tablet along with an antidepressant drug earlier in the day. “She also admitted to taking over the prescribed amount,” a police affidavit said.Police said while talking with the defendant they spotted her 4-month-old daughter in the back seat.In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child, Kwiatek is charged with a lane violation.

6:29 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Salvatore Failla, 52, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.

12:53 p.m. Nov. 20 — Four people were hurt when a pickup truck driven by Kenneth L. Filer, 17, of Grove City rear-ended a car on Irishtown Road near Cranberry Road in Pine Township.Brijette Hardesty, 33, of Jackson Center, who was driving the car, and three of her passengers, including a 14-year-old Harrisville girl, were taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.
