Donald Jamieson
Donald G. Jamieson, 82, of Mars, formerly of Cranberry Township, died Thursday morning at the Valencia Woods Nursing Center in Valencia.
Born in Sewickley, July 30, 1928, he was the son of the late George and Florence Shotton Jamieson.
Don was a steel fabricator for U.S. Steel in Ambridge and Spang & Co. in Butler.
A member of the Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township, he was also a 50-year member of the Ambridge Lodge 701 F&AM.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are four daughters, Dawn Marie Wagner (Richard Sr.) of Canton, Ohio, Kathryn Hartman (Thomas) of Mars, Beth Couser (Keith) of Columbus, Ohio, and Shelle Jamieson of Mars. He was the grandfather of Dustin (Kristi) and Heather Hartman, Richard Jr. and Jamie Wagner and Kristie and Katie Couser. A sister, Beverly Gomersall (Robert Sr.) of Industry also survives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Marshall Jamieson, who he married Jan. 15, 1955, and who died Oct. 11, 1997; and a sister, Virginia Marie Jamieson.

Jamieson, who died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Dutilh United Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066, with the Revs. Dwayne Burfield and James Gascoine, pastors, officiating.
