5:21 a.m. Saturday — Joshua M. Bobby, 31, was arrested after allegedly assaulting 32-year-old Erica L. Bobby and her 13-year-old daughter during a domestic dispute at their Brown Avenue home. The suspect was gone when police got to the home; however, officers later arrested him. He is charged with simple assault.6:40 a.m. Wednesday — Owners reported the windows of four vehicles parked on West Pearl Street were smashed out. The window of a fifth vehicle had a small puncture possibly made by a pellet gun.

10:55 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by William C. Hauck, 49, and a car driven by Mona Parsons, 83, both of Butler, collided at Route 8 and Glenwood Way in Center Township. Parsons suffered a minor injury. Police said Hauck was cited for not stopping at a red light.1:35 a.m. Sunday — Adam J. Lutz, 23, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car hit an embankment on Route 38 near Victoria Lane in Oakland Township. Police said Lutz failed to immediately notify police of the accident. Troopers found him walking on Route 38 about 30 minutes after the crash.12:45 a.m. Sunday — Jeffrey D. Cavalerc, 49, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Center Avenue and East Boyd Street in Butler.6:40 p.m. Friday — A deer ran into the side of a car on Route 308 in Center Township. Cory Trimbur, 21, of Butler was driving the car.11:45 a.m. Friday — Pickups driven by David L. Thomas, 54, and William A. Cinci Jr., 62, both of Portersville, collided on Route 19 near Route 488 in Portersville. Police said Thomas, who was pulling out of the post office parking lot, was cited for improperly entering the road.Friday — Four people were arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8 in Center Township during a sobriety checkpoint operation. In all, 72 vehicles were stopped. Police also issued 11 traffic tickets.Thursday — A white, 2001 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen between 9:45 and 11:30 p.m. from the driveway of a Whitestown Road home in Connoquenessing Township. The vehicle was recovered about 8:30 a.m. the next day.3:15 p.m. Wednesday — Ryan Raffel, 25, of Emlenton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance at Route 356 and North Duffy Road in Butler Township.Wednesday — Seven mailboxes, a fence and car windshield were damaged in a vandalism spree on Hannahstown, Saxonburg and Mushrush roads in Jefferson Township and Bicker and Winfield roads in Winfield Township. The vandalism happened between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.Wednesday — Someone overnight tried to pry open the side door at Scott's Landscaping on Route 8 in Center Township.

Wednesday — Someone stole the hood and cut hoses on a bulldozer parked in a field on Millbridge Street in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The theft and vandalism happened between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.Nov. 21 — An unknown burglar made off with copper plumbing and electrical wiring from a cabin on Clair Drive in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The break-in happened between Sept. 18 and Nov. 21.
