Donald Dwayne Bayne, 55, passed away at 9:48 a.m. Tuesday.

Donny owned and operated Bayne & Associates, an awards and silk-screening business he began with family and friends in his apartment home on Brady Street in 1977. Eventually the business expanded and moved to its current store front location on Main Street in downtown Butler. Prior to that, he was employed in the melt shop at Armco Steel and was a sales representative at Spang & Co.

Born May 4, 1955, in Butler, he was the son of the late Judith Jurysta Roudybush, his adoptive father, Donald Paul Bayne, and his birth father, Donald Lukavich.

Donny was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, golf and long distance running during his leisure time. He twice participated in the Boston Marathon, as well as a variety of special interest organizations, including the Eastern Amputee Golf Association, Easter Seals and as a volunteer for the Special Olympics.

An active member of the Butler business community, Donny was a member of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion Post 117, the Elks Club, the Brockway Sportsmen Club, the Western Clinton Sportsmen's Association, the Slovak Sokol Society of Lyndora and the Loyal Order of Moose. He was an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Shriners International.

He is survived by son, Thomas Bayne of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a daughter, Sarah Bayne of Fairfax, Va.; Rebecca Kamerer Bayne, mother of his children; sisters, Theresa Ellenberger and her husband, Ronald, of Prospect and Colby Imbrie and her husband, Gary Aldrich, of Houston, Texas; his stepfather, H. Gary Roudybush of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>BAYNE </B>— In accordance with the wishes of Donald Dwayne Bayne, who died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, a celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 117, 413 S. Main St., Butler.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donny Bayne Memorial Fund at Huntington Bank, 127 S. Main St., Butler, PA 16001.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler, and information and a guest book are available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
