Mildred 'Mim' Teets
Mildred Virginia "Mim" Teets, 83, of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, died Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford.
Born July 28, 1927, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Estep) Vorderbrueggen.
Mrs. Teets was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, Zelienople.
She always rose early to be with her husband as his "right-hand woman" as an integral part of their former Glen Eden Dairy Farm.
Mrs. Teets also loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by six daughters, Karen Shaffer and Dianne Teets, both of New Sewickley Township, Lou Ann (James) Boyer of Avon Lake, Ohio, Marlene (Robert) Schaub of New Sewickley Township, Darlene (Darrell) Benson of McCandless Township and Kimberly (Ronald) Heitzenrater of New Sewickley Township; two sisters, Mary Pratte of Rochester and Rose Sheets of New Brighton; a sister-in-law, Frankie Vorderbrueggen of New Brighton; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. "Bip" Teets, who died Sept. 25, 1993; three sisters, Angela and Madeline Vorderbrueggen and Cecelia Stuber; and four brothers, Anthony, Bernard, Paul and Francis Vorderbrueggen.
<B>TEETS</B> — Friends of Mildred Virginia "Mim" Teets, who died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
