Tina Marie (Brown) Ometz, 35, formerly of Mars, died Sept. 20 in Sebring, Fla., after a long courageous fight against cancer.

Tina was born in Atlanta, Sept. 7, 1975, and was a stay-at-home mother.

Tina loved horticulture, art and music among many other things.

Tina and Jonathan Ometz married in August 2006 in Bakerstown.

Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Pence of Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Jon; and her children, Brandon, Sarah, Audrey, Corey, Megan, Emily, Samantha and Zachary. She also left behind her parents, Vernon and Maria Brown Jr. of Lake Placid, Fla.; her sisters, Christina, Veronica, Blenda, Maria, Angela and Sonya; and three brothers, Blake, Jeremy and Vernon.

<B>OMETZ</B> — A memorial service for Tina Ometz, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, will be Sunday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bakerstown United Methodist Church, 5760 William Flynn Highway, Gibsonia. Floral deliveries will be accepted by the church.
