Sunday — An unknown thief overnight stole a pair of Oakley sunglasses from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 200 block of Wallula Avenue. The suspect also damaged an antenna while trying to take a Sirius radio from the vehicle.11:03 p.m. Saturday — Todd Dunmyre, 22, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after a two-car crash at West Penn Street and Sixth Avenue.Police said Dunmyre's car collided with a car driven by Ralph L. Henry, 73, of Center Township. A breath test later showed Dunmyre's blood-alcohol level was 0.235 percent, according to a police report, which is almost three times the legal limit for alcohol while operating a vehicle in Pennsylvania.

9:30 a.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Vivian Suhan, 67, of Cabot and William E. Burke, 35, of Saxonburg collided at Marwood and Holl roads in Winfield Township. Suhan suffered a minor injury. Police said Suhan was cited for making an improper left turn and Burke was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and an inspection violation.7:15 a.m. Sunday — Michael Conroy Jr., 20, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township. Conroy was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.Conroy was northbound on Route 8, police said, when his car struck a ditch and an embankment. The car became airborne before landing back of the road and rolling onto its side. The vehicle slid about 100 feet and rolled back onto its wheels.Sunday — Someone smashed a mailbox and stole a sign on Pink Road in Mercer Township.10:34 p.m. Saturday — Amber Jones, no age given, of Slippery Rock swerved her car to avoid a deer and struck a tree along Shields Road in Mercer Township.2 a.m. Saturday — Megan Eshenbaugh, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8 near Hansen Avenue in Butler Township.8:30 p.m. Friday — Joshua Todd Bennett, 20, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his vehicle struck a stop sign at Brians Court and Gram Terrace in the Lake Arthur Estates trailer park in Muddy Creek Township.Police said Bennett also faces charges of underage drinking and leaving the scene of an accident.3:45 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Anthony G. Colianni, 29, of Ellwood City crashed and slid into a tree along Unionville Road near Election House Road in Franklin Township. Police said Colianni, who was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, was cited for a lane violation.Thursday — A 64-year-old Winfield Township woman was defrauded out of an undisclosed amount of money in a lottery scam. A police news release provided no details about the scam.Nov. 13 — Someone used a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for a meal at the Restaurant in the Square in Butler’s Pullman Square shopping plaza.
