Phyllis I. Breitmos, 87, of 73 Beaverdam Lane, Palm Coast, Fla., died at 7:05 p.m. Friday at her home.

Born Feb. 13, 1923, in Karns City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond K. Barger and Estella Mae Bartley Barger.

Mrs. Breitmos worked as a clerk for AT&T and retired in 1986.

She was a Karns City graduate.

Mrs. Breitmos is survived by one son, Russell and his wife, Michele, Breitmos; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; nine nieces; five nephews; two brothers, Bernard and his wife, Janet, Barger and Myron and his wife, Joyce, Barger; and two sisters, Barbara Ruffner and Sandra Merchant and her husband, Joe.

Mrs. Breitmos was preceded in death by her husband, John Breitmos, who she married March 31, 1944, and who passed away Dec. 29, 1988.

<B>BREITMOS</B> — Friends of Phyllis I. Breitmos, who died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Services will follow at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday with Pastor Dan Smail of Bethlehem Ministries officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Royal Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
