Margaret Elizabeth Schettler Emery, 80, of Fairview Avenue, Butler, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at her home.

Born March 27, 1930, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Michael Schettler and Jennie Mahood Schettler.

Margaret was an auto accounts clerk for Nationwide Insurance, from where she retired in 1985.

She was a member of the Christ's Outreach Church, and she enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and visiting with friends. She was involved with Meals on Wheels while her health permitted.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Susan Elaine Emery, with whom she made her home, and Shirley Elizabeth and her husband, Harold, Engel of Butler; two sister-in-laws, Shirley Shuber and Elizabeth Emery; four nieces; and four nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; two infant brothers; one daughter, Anita Joanne Emery; and her former husband, Robert J. Emery.

North St., Butler, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Brewer of Christ's Outreach Church officiating.
