Milliron

Evelyn L. Milliron, 81, of Butler died at 7:31 p.m. Friday in the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Forbes Regional Campus, Monroeville.

Born Feb. 26, 1929, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late L. Kenneth Davis and Ruth V. Bowser Davis.

Mrs. Milliron was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She was a nursing assistant at VA Butler Healthcare, retiring in 1993 after 25 years.

Mrs. Milliron enjoyed bingo and bus trips to casinos with her friends.

Mrs. Milliron is survived by two daughters, Judith A. Linn of Butler and Ruthane M. and her husband, Nicholas Durso, of Slippery Rock; five grandchildren, Michael R. Linn and Nicole R. Hays, both of Butler, and Jacob J. Durso, Noah J. Durso and Daniel J. Durso, all of Slippery Rock; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Marie Shirley.

Mrs. Milliron was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda C. Durso, and one brother, Kenneth P. Davis.

<B>MILLIRON</B> — Friends of Evelyn L. Milliron, who died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Billy Edminston officiating.
