9:49 p.m. Saturday — Andrew L. Kerr, 22, of Oakland Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on South Washington Street following a hit-and-run crash. Police said Kerr rear-ended a vehicle driven by Maureen Mossman, 49, of Butler and drove away. Kerr faces charges of DUI and hit-and-run.
11:08 p.m. Friday — Brian Fix, 30, of Butler suffered head and neck injuries when the car he was driving struck a concrete divider after he swerved to avoid a deer on Route 422, east of Route 8. Fix was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital.4:59 p.m. Friday — Police want to talk to anyone who saw a two-vehicle crash on Route 68. The crash involved a silver Honda Civic and a black pickup truck. Police said the pickup fled the scene.If you have information about the crash, call police at 724-285-9600.8:29 a.m. Friday — Christian Knauss, 23, of Butler was hurt when the car he was driving struck the side of a garbage truck on Vogel Road near Crossland Road. Knauss was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor injury. Police did not identify the truck driver.
3:30 p.m. Saturday — Someone stole several blue merchandise totes from the rear outside of the Rite Aid pharmacy on West Main street. The unknown thief left in a dark brown pick-up truck with the license plate 885WB. The plate's state was not known.The truck was last seen west on Main Street Anyone with any information is asked to call Grove City police at 724-458-7925.9:51 p.m. Thursday — Police discovered graffiti on seven business buildings in the downtown area on South Broad Street. Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police.
Monday — An unknown vandal or vandals in a vehicle overnight damaged a yard on Holl Road in Winfield Township. The vehicle tore up the grass, and a blunt object was used to damage lights and a fence at the home.12:55 a.m. Saturday — Justin M. Allday, 21, of Center Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 near Route 528 in Brady Township.2:48 a.m. Oct. 25 — Ryan N. Banner, 24, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Greenhill Drive in Butler Township.
1:30 a.m. Sunday — A 52-year-old Templeton man was seriously injured when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on Route 85 near Stonehouse Road in Valley Township. The man, who police did not identify, was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. He was wearing a helmet.
