5:22 p.m. Thursday A vehicle driven by Kaitlin Adams-Mackey, 19, of Grove City, a van driven by Valerie Fennell, 42, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Jason Campbell, 38, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Hansen Avenue. Adams-Mackey and Campbell were not injured, but Fennell suffered minor injuries. Adams-Mackey was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Wednesday A pair of muffler shops were targeted, possibly by the same burglar, within a half-hour.About 5 a.m. someone broke into the Monro Muffler Shop on New Castle Road. At 5:23 a.m., someone tried but failed to get into the Midas Muffler Shop on Evans City Road.Police have not definitively connected the two crimes but said they could be the work of the same person.The shops are within sight of one another.Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.12:51 p.m. Tuesday A car driven by Tara Storey, 24, of Butler and a tractor- trailer driven by Phillip Goode, 36, of Lawrenceville, Va., collided on Route 8 at the entrance to the Greater Butler Mart. Goode was injured.

6:40 p.m. Thursday A 14-year-old girl from Slippery Rock and a 14-year-old girl from Boyers each were charged with retail theft after they allegedly tried to steal items from Spencer Gifts at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.11 a.m. Tuesday Michelle Vanscoy, 31, of Fenelton was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after she was allegedly found with a crack pipe behind Vin and Joe's Bar on Route 38 in Summit Township.9 p.m. Oct. 21 Someone stole checks belonging to Laurie E. Bowser of Rimersburg, then used the checks to make purchases at the Giant Eagle stores in Gibsonia and Glenshaw. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.2:30 a.m. Oct. 21 A pickup truck driven by Adam E. Davis, 24, of Butler crashed into several trees along Reiber Road in Connoquenessing Township. Davis and his passengers, Daniel P. Shokookee, 21, of Butler and Jarrid M. Lipscomb, 20, of Cabot were not injured. Passenger Joshua D. Williams, 21, of Chicora suffered a minor injury. Davis was cited for failing to obey a stop sign.2:45 a.m. Oct. 16 Morgan F. Mann, 26, of Chicora was charged with DUI and several traffic violations after her vehicle hit a tree and a utility pole along Route 356 near Dreher Farm Lane in Summit Township. No injuries were reported.

6:50 a.m. Friday A car driven by Timothy J. Weleski, 57, of Sarver struck a deer along Route 28 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. Weleski was not injured.1:56 a.m. Thursday An individual dressed in black pants, black shoes, a gray shirt and a red hooded sweatshirt broke in the rear door of Hiland Pharmacy in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Once inside, the suspect stole money and cigarettes.

10:56 a.m. Friday A Jeep driven by Lisa M. Suhoney, 40, of West Sunbury crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its side along Route 308 in Clinton Township, Venango County. Suhoney suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving at anunsafe speed.
