Ramsey 60th anniversary
George and Virginia Ramsey of Chicora will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner Nov. 14 at the Chicora Fire Hall.
Ramsey married the former Virginia Collier on Oct. 21, 1950, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Chicora.
They have five children, Michelle Miller of Chicora, George Ramsey of Parker, Gregory Ramsey of Butler, Melinda Schultheis of Cabot and Natalie Terwilliger of Chicora.
They also have 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Ramsey is retired from the Chicora Post Office and was a part-time BART bus driver. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mrs. Ramsey is retired as secretary at Dunmyre Trucking and from Butler Memorial Hospital laundry service. She also enjoys sewing.
The Ramseys belong to Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Chicora.
