Doyle and Mary Jo Maurhoff

Doyle and Mary Jo Maurhoff of Petrolia celebrated 50 years of marriage with a gathering Oct. 24 at the Atrium in Prospect.

Maurhoff married the former Mary Jo Schnell on Nov. 25, 1960, at Martinsburg Presbyterian Church in Bruin.

They have three children, Margaret "Peggy" Vereb of Joshua, Texas, Mark Maurhoff of Arlington, Texas, and Marlin Maurhoff of Petrolia.

They also have one grandchild.

Mr. Maurhoff was a teacher in the Butler School District for 33 years.

Mrs. Maurhoff is a homemaker.

The Maurhoffs belong to West Sunbury Presbyterian Church.
