Devin Hale of Butler was among seven students in the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2013 receiving grants from the Pittsburgh Foundation.The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Foundation was awarded a $22,553 grant from the Pittsburgh Foundation, funded by the West Allegheny Physicians' Association fund to assist students from southwestern Pennsylvania.———

Maxwell McCurdy of Butler was cast as Howard in the Baldwin-Wallace College production of "Moon Over Buffalo."McCurdy is a junior majoring in theatre.A 2008 graduate of Butler High School, he is the son of Mary and Zane McCurdy.
