Grossman 50th anniversary

Harriet and Gerald Grossman

Gerald "Jerry" and Harriet Grossman will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house given by their children in their honor from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Harmony United Presbyterian Church, 234 N. Main St., Harrisville. Friends and family are welcome.

Grossman married the former Harriet Wigton on Oct. 14, 1960, at Branchton Methodist Church.

They have two children, Pam Miller and Teena Mershimer.

They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Grossman retired after 38 years from Cooper Bessemer in Grove City and is a self-employed electrical contractor with Jerry's Electric. He enjoys golfing, swimming and is an avid Steelers fan.

Mrs. Grossman is retired from the Legg's Hanes and Bali store at the Grove City Outlet Mall. She enjoys traveling, photography, crafts and reading.

Mr. and Mrs. Grossman both enjoy spending time with family and friends.

The couple are members of Harmony United Methodist Church in Harrisville, where Mrs. Grossman has taught Sunday school classes for more than 35 years and Mr. Grossman has served on the Session for more than 45 years.
