SRHS places third in D-10 golf finals
The Slippery Rock High School boys golf team capped a strong season by placing third at the District 10 team finals Saturday at The Greens of Greenville.
Led by Brett Rinker's 72, Slippery Rock shot a 327.
Cathedral Prep won the district title with a 311 and Titusville was second at 319.
In 18-hole matches this season, Slippery Rock went 105-4, the best finish in school history.
Rinker and Brian Giesler will compete in the District 10 Individual Finals on Tuesday at Oak Tree Country Club.
