12:37 a.m. Monday — Matthew Fitzpatrick, 38, of Butler was charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute at 327 Pillow St., during which he allegedly struck Jennifer L. Scott of Butler and pushed her to the ground, breaking her finger.

9:15 p.m. Sept. 27 — Police and Mercer County Children and Youth Services are investigating the alleged assault of a 2-year-old boy at a home on Blom Road in Pine Township.

12:18 a.m. Oct. 2 — A car driven by Jason E. Sabo, 32, of Baltimore crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof along Interstate 80 in Richland Township, Clarion County. Sabo suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving at unsafe speed.
