Lloyd and Margaret Retting Sr.

Lloyd and Margaret Retting Sr. of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage with an open house at Sunnyview Home.

Rettig married the former Margaret Roskoskey on Aug. 31, 1945, in Providence, R.I.

They have four children, Lloyd Rettig Jr. of Wheeling, W.Va., Terry Rettig of Butler, Paula Wheeler of Charleston, S.C., and Mark Rettig of Clarkston, Mich.

They also have five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rettig is retired from the Butler Hot Dog Shop.

Mrs. Rettig is a retired matron from the Butler County Prison.

The Rettigs belong to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
