Willard and Sally Alben

Willard and Sally Alben of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage with an open house with family and friends at the Slippery Rock Township Building.

Alben married the former Sally Allen on Sept. 10, 1960, at the United Methodist Church in Slippery Rock.

They have three children, Daryl Alben, Scott Alben and Brian Alben, all of Slippery Rock.

They also have two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Alben is retired from Halstead Industries and is a part-time custodian at Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.

Mrs. Alben is a homemaker.

The Albens are members of Wolf Creek Presbyterian Church.
