Two Butler County students were awarded up to $10,000 each in scholarships from the II-VI Foundation to pursue a postsecondary degree in the areas of science, mathematics, and engineering for the 2010-2011 school year.

Shane Mills of Cabot is a senior at Grove City College studying mathematics. Mills is a repeat recipient of a foundation scholarship.

Sarah Robb of Saxonburg is a student at Robert Morris University studying biomechanical engineering. Robb is a new recipient of a foundation scholarship.The II-VI Incorporated Foundation Scholarship Program was established to encourage and enable student scholars to pursue an engineering, mathematics, or science-related degree.
