The Kerrs in 1950

George and Mabel "Tootie" Kerr of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Kerr married the former Mabel Shelton on Sept. 22, 1950, at North Street Christian Church in Butler.

They have one child, George K. Kerr Jr. of Butler. Two children, Dr. Thomas A. Kerr and Roger N. Kerr, are deceased.

They also have eight grandchildren.

Kerr is the retired owner of George Kerr Inc.

Mrs. Kerr is a homemaker.

The Kerrs are members of Community Alliance Church in Butler.
