Alvin and Pauline Winchell

Alvin and Pauline Winchell of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage with an open house with family and friends at Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church.

Winchell married the former Pauline Dambaugh on Aug. 26, 1960, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Connoquenessing.

They have three children, Lynnette Patton of Prospect, Aaron Winchell of Prospect and Diana Peters of Butler.

They also have four grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.

Winchell is retired from Pullman Standard and Lower Implement.

Mrs. Winchell is retired from AVI Food Services.

The Winchells are members of Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church.
