10:37 p.m. Sunday — Michael A. Fischer, 25, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 26-year-old Sara L. Marra, during a domestic dispute at her Negley Avenue apartment. Fischer, who is charged with simple assault, was placed in the Butler County Prison pending arraignment this morning.Sunday — Thomas Snyder reported that an unidentified vehicle ovenight struck his sport utility vehicle parked in front of his Third Avenue home. Snyder's SUV sustained scrapes on most of the passenger side.2:23 a.m. Saturday — Christy M. Stringer, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at West Penn and North Chestnut streets. Stringer also was cited for not stopping at a flashing red light, a stop sign violation and careless driving.State Police, ButlerSunday — One person was arrested for driving under the influence during a roving DUI detail between 11 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday in the area of Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.Police stopped 45 vehicles during the detail and, in addition to the DUI arrest, issued eight traffic citations and 24 warnings.8:51 p.m. Saturday — Mark Hoover, 47, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a crash on Route 138 in Clay Township.3:03 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Jessica C. Dadisman, 20, of Charleroi, Washington County, struck the rear of a minivan on Route 108 at the Interstate 79 on-ramp in Worth Township. Luigi Lista, 34, of Carnegie, Allegheny County, who was driving the minivan and wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury, Police said Dadisman was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.12:35 p.m. Friday — Steven R. Montgomery, 18, of Boyers was hurt when the minivan he was driving struck a utility pole along Route 8 in Harrisville. Montgomery, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.6:17 a.m. Friday — John Lorenz, 49, of Cabot was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Franklin Road near Kaufman Road in Jackson Township.Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle struck two mailboxes along Marwood Road and did not stop after the crash that happened between 1 and 6 a.m.Wednesday — An unknown burglar pried open a door and stole a cash register with $120 at Fox's Pizza on Route 173 in Slippery Rock. The burglary happened between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.
9:12 p.m. Friday — Sarah E. Roxbury, 29, of East Brady was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Brady Township, Clarion County.
11:03 a.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kay F. Spiker, 55, and a car driven by Michele C. Stella, 28, both of Grove City collided at Enterprise and Centertown roads in Pine Township. Police said Spiker was cited for a stop sign violation.7 a.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Jason E. Doctor, 33, of Reno, Venango County, struck a deer on Route 965 in Worth Township, Mercer County,
Saturday — Someone cut the lock of a main gate at Priest Enterprise Inc. on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Once on the business property, the unknown suspect cut off the locks of four storage trailers.Police said a lock was cut off of a storage trailer at a neighboring business, Sharp's Truck & Trailer Repair. Police did not immediately know what was taken. The break-ins and thefts happened between 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
