5:28 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Christopher X. Hetrick, 34, of Sarver and a pickup truck driven by Jason C. Miller, 31, of Chicora collided at the intersection of West Jefferson and North Chestnut streets. Both drivers were uninjured, but Hetrick's passenger, Patrick McCamey, 35, of Slippery Rock had minor injuries.5:20 a.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Charmaine E. Ulisky, 54, of Lyndora and a pickup truck driven by Raymond H. Elliott, 49, of Chicora collided at the intersection of South Main and West Cunningham streets. Ulisky was uninjured, but her passenger, a 43-year-old Butler woman who was not named, as well as Elliott, suffered minor injuries.8:09 p.m. Thursday — Carey M. Johns, 33, of Butler was charged with simple assault after he allegedly dragged his girlfriend from her bed and kicked her twice in the side while staying at her Shore Street apartment on Sept. 5.11:33 p.m. Monday — Peter J. Crawford Jr., 30, of Foxburg and Ruth A. Wyant, 26, of Butler each were charged with false reports to law enforcement after they allegedly told police that a man had pulled a gun on them during an argument at his West Penn Street apartment. The pair allegedly later admitted that no such incident took place.

11:50 p.m. Thursday — Alan Demenic, 28, of Clinton Township was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and driving without a license after he allegedly drove a vehicle with his girlfriend hanging outside following an argument.
