Martha G. Morrison
Mrs. Martha G. Morrison, 86, of South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, passed away peacefully at 3:15 p.m. Monday at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.
Martha was born in South Buffalo Township Jan. 15, 1924, the daughter of the late Ralph L. and Essie May (Thompson) Galbreath.
She was the widow of Robert P. Morrison, who passed away in 1996.
Martha was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She had worked as a cook for the Kittanning Country Club and Novotny's Pizza in Slate Lick.
Martha was a board member and volunteer for the Freeport Meals on Wheels.
She was a life member and very active in the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, where she was a former deacon, Sunday school teacher, member of the choir, helped in the kitchen and was part of the Church Quilters and Partners in Prayer.
Martha also enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her three sons, Robert A. (Candy) Morrison of Astor, Fla., David N. (Linda) Morrison of Piedmont, S.D., and L. Scott (Elaine) Morrison of South Buffalo Township; her daughter, Margaret A. "Peg" Morrison of Butler; her brother Ralph T. (Helen) Galbreath of Ford City; and her sister Eileen (John) Payo of Dillsburg, Pa. She is also survived by five
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brandy L. Morrison; and her sister, Mary King.<B>MORRISON</B> — Family and friends of Martha G.
