Judy and Rex Jewell

Rex and Judy Jewell of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a trip to Aruba in June and a family dinner Aug. 14.

Jewell married the former Judy Moser on Aug. 17, 1960, in Slippery Rock.

They have three children, Michele Covert of Chicora, Sharon Campbell of Cabot and Connie Luppe of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Jewell is retired from the transportation department at Armco.

Mrs. Jewell is retired from Nationwide Insurance.

The Jewells are members of Summit Presbyterian Church.
